Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author version 9
Description The issue arises due to improper memory management. When a user opens a manipulated Right Hemisphere Material (.rhm, .x3d) file from an untrusted source, the application can crash and become temporarily unavailable until it is restarted.
Recommendations For SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Author version 9, avoid opening .rhm or .x3d files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the file opening feature for these specific file types until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
