Description The issue concerns a lack of authorization and CSRF check when creating or updating popups in the plugin. It is also missing proper sanitization and escaping, which could allow unauthenticated attackers to create arbitrary popups and add Stored XSS payloads.
Recommendations For Popup Manager WordPress plugin versions 1.6.6 and earlier, update to a version that includes proper authorization, CSRF checks, sanitization, and escaping to prevent the creation of arbitrary popups and addition of Stored XSS payloads. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
