Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions D-Link DIR-867 versions DIR 867 FW1.30B07
Description The issue is related to an OS command injection vulnerability in the SetVirtualServerSettings function of the D-Link DIR-867 router's firmware. This vulnerability allows an attacker to execute arbitrary commands in the device's operating system as the root user by manipulating the value of the LocalIPAddress parameter. The exploitation can occur remotely.
Recommendations For D-Link DIR-867 version DIR 867 FW1.30B07, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the SetVirtualServerSettings function to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the LocalIPAddress parameter in the affected API endpoint until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
