Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Substance 3D Designer versions prior to 12.4.0
Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds write vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This allows an attacker to potentially execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For versions prior to 12.4.0, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of DAE file parsing functionality until a patch is available. Restrict access to malicious files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
