Description The issue arises from insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user-supplied attributes in the lana text to image and lana text to img shortcode. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level and above permissions to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For versions up to, and including, 1.0.0, update to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the lana text to image and lana text to img shortcodes to minimize the risk of exploitation.
