Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Jenkins Pipeline restFul API Plugin versions 0.11 and earlier
Description A cross-site request forgery (CSRF) vulnerability allows attackers to connect to an attacker-specified URL, capturing a newly generated JCLI token. This enables attackers to impersonate the victim. The vulnerability is caused by the plugin not requiring POST requests for an HTTP endpoint.
Recommendations For Jenkins Pipeline restFul API Plugin versions 0.11 and earlier, consider disabling the vulnerable HTTP endpoint until a patch is available. Restrict access to the plugin to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
