Description The issue is related to an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing a specially crafted SPP file. This could allow an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process.

Recommendations For versions prior to V2201.0006, update to version V2201.0006 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of SPP files from untrusted sources until a patch is applied. Avoid using the affected SPP file parsing functionality in Tecnomatix Plant Simulation until the issue is resolved.
