Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bound access in the Linux kernel, specifically in the net: dsa: mv88e6xxx component. If an ATU violation was caused by a CPU Load operation, the SPID could be larger than DSA MAX PORTS, which is the size of the mv88e6xxx chip.ports[] array. This could potentially lead to a denial of service.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
