Description An issue in the LoongArch component of the Linux kernel can lead to a null pointer dereference, potentially allowing an attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem occurs when DEFERRED STRUCT PAGE INIT is enabled; specifically, an early call to memblock reserve() in memblock init() sets the node ID to MAX NUMNODES. This results in a null dereference of NODE DATA(nid) within the call chain reserve bootmem region() -> init reserved page(), leading to a kernel panic.
