Description
The issue is due to insufficient restrictions through the REST API on protected posts and pages, allowing unauthenticated attackers to access protected content.
Recommendations
For versions up to, and including, 1.6.2, update to a version that includes the necessary restrictions to prevent information disclosure.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the REST API until a patch is available.
