Description A vulnerability has been identified in Simcenter Femap that allows an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process. This issue is related to an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated buffer while parsing a specially crafted Catia MODEL file.

Recommendations For versions prior to V2401.0000, update to version V2401.0000 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of specially crafted Catia MODEL files until a patch is applied. Restrict access to the file parsing functionality to minimize the risk of exploitation.
