Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to the netfilter: nft limit module in the Linux kernel, where configurations that cause integer overflow are rejected. This occurs with very large requests, such as 17gbyte/s, and is resolved by rejecting bogus configurations where the internal token counter wraps around, rather than having incorrect rate limits.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
