Description The issue allows DNS traffic to leave the device when Mullvad VPN on Android fails to create a tunnel and does not set a DNS server in the blocking state. This can result in sensitive DNS requests being logged by operators of unintended DNS servers.

Recommendations For versions through 2024.1, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting DNS traffic until a patch is available. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
