Description The issue is related to unauthorized image upload due to a missing capability check on the add media library images to gallery function. This allows authenticated attackers with subscriber access or above to upload arbitrary images to a gallery.
Recommendations For MaxGalleria plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 6.4.2, update to a version higher than 6.4.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the add media library images to gallery function to minimize the risk of exploitation.
