Description The issue is related to a Path Traversal vulnerability in the web component of Ivanti Avalanche. This vulnerability is due to incorrect restriction of a pathname to a restricted directory. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands with SYSTEM privileges.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.4.3, update to version 6.4.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the web component of Ivanti Avalanche to minimize the risk of exploitation.
