Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The issue is related to the Linux kernel, specifically in the drm/xe module, where the pat.ops pointer is not checked before dumping PAT settings. This can cause a null pointer dereference (NPD) when trying to dump PAT settings via debugfs, especially in valid future use cases such as running as a Virtual Function (VF). The fix involves checking the pat.ops pointer instead of a specific .dump hook, as the latter is always defined for every .ops variant.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
