Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
The issue is related to a potential deadlock warning in the i2c component of the Linux kernel. When
del timer sync() is called in an interrupt context, it throws a warning because of a potential deadlock. The timer is used to exit from wait for completion() after a timeout. Replacing the call with wait for completion timeout() allows removing the problematic timer and its related functions.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
