Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A synchronization lock issue exists in the ch ktls component. The process of taking page refcounts can lead to a kernel panic, potentially allowing an attacker to cause a denial of service. This occurs because page cleanup may happen if an ACK is received during the transmission of a socket buffer (skb). To prevent this, the tx ctx lock should be used for the entire skb transmission.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
