Description The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the ajax load more shortcode due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows authenticated attackers with contributor-level permissions and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.

Recommendations For WordPress Infinite Scroll – Ajax Load More plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 7.1.1, update to a version higher than 7.1.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the ajax load more shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation.
