Description The issue is related to errors in handling relative paths to directories in the continuous integration and delivery system (CI/CD) JetBrains TeamCity. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to write backup files to arbitrary directories.

Recommendations For versions prior to 2024.07.3, update to version 2024.07.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the backup file functionality until a patch is applied.
