Description:
The issue is related to a potential buffer overflow in the
dp dsc clock en read() function in the Linux kernel's drm/amd/display component. This could allow an attacker to cause a denial of service. The problem arises from the snprintf() function printing too much data, 30 bytes instead of 10, in the output buffer.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
