Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, specifically in the ksmbd component. The issue involved the potential freeing of ksmbd work after connection release during oplock break notification. To address this, the r count of ksmbd conn is incremented to indicate that requests are not finished yet and to prevent the connection from being released.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
