VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: The Responsive Addons for Elementor – Free Elementor Addons Plugin and Elementor Templates plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.6.9
Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping, specifically via the rael title tag parameter. This allows authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages, which will execute when a user accesses an injected page.
Recommendations: For versions up to, and including, 1.6.9, update to a version that fully patches the vulnerability, as version 1.6.9 only partially addresses the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the rael title tag parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
