Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A bug in the Linux kernel's network library has been resolved. The issue occurred because the hardware only supports L4 checksum offload for TCP/UDP/SCTP protocols, but the software incorrectly set the Tx checksum flag for other protocols, resulting in a Tx ring hang. The fix involves computing a software checksum for affected packets.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
