Description A vulnerability in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the macvlan module. The issue is that macvlan does not enforce a consistent minimal MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) of 68, even when creating a link. This could lead to crashes in the IPv6 stack if the link is brought up. The patch ensures that macvlan enforces a minimal MTU of 68.
