Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A warning occurs when running the latest kernel on a BlueField SOC due to the mlxbf-bootctl driver invoking sysfs emit() with a buffer pointer that is not aligned to the start of the page. The driver should use sysfs emit at() to support non-zero offsets into the destination buffer. This issue is related to the secure boot fuse state show() function.
Recommendations For the affected Linux kernel versions, consider updating the mlxbf-bootctl driver to use sysfs emit at() instead of sysfs emit() in the secure boot fuse state show() function to resolve the issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
