Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A crash in the Linux kernel has been resolved, related to the scsi: qla2xxx module. The issue occurs due to stale SRB access around I/O timeouts. To fix this, the code now ensures that the SRB is returned during I/O timeout error escalation, or fails the escalation path if this is not possible. A crash stack was observed, indicating a kernel paging request error at a specific address, with a call trace involving several functions from the qla2xxx module.
