Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A pointer dereference issue exists in the emulation proc handler() function within the ARM64 architecture support of the Linux kernel. When emulation proc handler() is called concurrently with itself while modifying table->data for proc dointvec minmax, it can lead to a kernel NULL pointer dereference. This condition can result in a kernel Oops, potentially causing a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
