Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Contact Form 7 Database Addon plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.3.1
Description: The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. This allows unauthenticated attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page. The tmpD parameter is specifically vulnerable to this type of attack.
Recommendations: For Contact Form 7 Database Addon plugin for WordPress versions up to, and including, 1.3.1, consider updating to a version that addresses the insufficient input sanitization and output escaping issue. As a temporary workaround, restrict access to the tmpD parameter to minimize the risk of exploitation.
