Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description:
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel where the
pll1 d8 clock could be disabled during probe deferral, leading to a system hang. This occurred because disabling the CLK DMA clock, a parent of pll1 d8, reduced the enable count of pll1 d8 to zero, causing it to be disabled. Marking the clock as critical prevents it from being disabled.Recommendations:
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
