Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel's netfilter module related to handling duplicate devices during netfilter table updates. Specifically, a chain or flowtable update may proceed with duplicated devices within the same batch. The netdev event path only removes the first found duplicate device, leaving the hook of the subsequent duplicate device unregistered. This can lead to a warning being triggered during hook unregistration.
Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
