Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A null pointer dereference issue was resolved in the
drm/msm/dpu module. The drm atomic get new connector state() function can return NULL if the connector is not part of the atomic state. A missing check for this NULL return could lead to a dereference of a null pointer. The fix adds a check to prevent this dereference, mirroring a similar check in dpu encoder update topology().Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
