Description
The
start task() function in the Linux kernel may experience a null pointer dereference. This occurs because the return value of create singlethread workqueue() is not checked, potentially resulting in a NULL pointer being passed to subsequent functions, specifically leading to an access of wq->flags when wq is NULL.Recommendations
