Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak exists in the Atheros/Qualcomm wireless adapter driver within the ath11k mhi register() function. The mhi alloc controller() function allocates memory for the mhi ctrl variable; however, if the ath11k mhi read addr from dt() function fails, the system returns without calling mhi free controller(). This failure to release the resource can impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
