Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A memory leak exists in the error handling path of the cas init one() function within the Cassini component. The cas saturn firmware init() function allocates memory using vmalloc(), which is freed in the .remove() function but not when an error occurs during the probe process. Adding the missing vfree() function resolves this memory leak.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
