Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel related to clock (clk) handling within the imx scu subsystem. The issue involves the use of an unsafe list iterator, potentially leading to a use-after-free condition. Specifically, a loop was freeing a clock (
clk) resource without utilizing a safe iterator (list for each entry safe), resulting in the dereferencing of a freed memory location during iteration.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
