Description A reference leak exists in the Linux kernel’s platform/x86/dell-sysman component. When a duplicate attribute is found using the kset find obj() function, a reference to that attribute is returned, requiring proper disposal. The issue is addressed by using kobject put() to dispose of the duplicate attribute in such cases.

Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
