Description A data format agreement violation exists in the Direct Rendering Infrastructure (DRI) driver module drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915 perf.c. The issue involves a global-out-of-bounds read in the xehp is valid b counter addr() function, occurring because arrays passed to reg in range table lacked a required empty record sentinel. This flaw could allow an attacker to access protected information or cause a denial of service.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
