VectorAV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:L/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An integer underflow exists in the mt7601u wireless driver. Manipulation of the dma len variable within the URB packet can trigger an integer underflow of the seg len variable in the mt7601u rx process seg() function. This allows the bad frame checks in the mt7601u rx skb from seg() function to be bypassed, resulting in a null pointer dereference of the pointer p. This issue can impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of protected information.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
