Description
A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s md/raid1 subsystem where an out-of-bounds write can occur in the
raid1 remove disk() function if rddev->raid disk is greater than mddev->raid disks. This issue was addressed by validating the number variable. Similar reports were found in commits d17f744e883b and 1ebc2cec0b7d.Recommendations
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
