Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw within the ocfs2 component related to a double free in the user cluster connect() function. Specifically, user cluster disconnect() frees a memory region, and the error handling path subsequently frees the same memory region again. This is addressed by setting the pointer to NULL after the initial free, preventing the double free condition.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
