Description A time-of-check time-of-use race condition exists in some Intel Ethernet Adapter Complete Driver Pack software within Ring 3: User Applications. This may allow for a denial of service. An unprivileged software adversary with an authenticated user and a low complexity attack could potentially enable denial of service via adjacent access, but attack requirements are not present without special internal knowledge and require active user interaction. The issue may impact the availability of the vulnerable system.

Recommendations Update to version 1.5.1.0 or later.
