Description
The WSChat plugin for WordPress is susceptible to unauthorized data modification. This is due to a missing capability check on the
reset settings API endpoint. Authenticated attackers with Subscriber-level access or higher can reset the plugin’s settings. The vulnerable API endpoint is /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php with the reset settings action.Recommendations
Versions prior to 3.1.7 should be updated.
