Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw related to PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) transmission. Specifically, the issue arises when associating an skb (socket buffer) with a device during transmission, triggering a flow dissector warning. This occurs because the skb net namespace is not set in ppp send frame, leading to an attempt to find it manually. The issue was identified through Syzkaller testing and results in a warning related to skb flow dissect.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
