Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description A flaw exists in the Linux kernel’s regulator subsystem, specifically within the da9063 regulator driver. When certain da9063 regulators lack corresponding Device Tree (DT) nodes, a null pointer dereference occurs during boot. This happens because the absence of DT nodes results in invalid pointers being calculated within the da9063 check xvp constraints() function, leading to a crash. The issue arises from attempting to dereference these invalid pointers.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
