Description The Linux kernel contains an issue in the bpf memory allocator where a freed element may be immediately reused. For htab maps, this reuse can reinitialize special fields in map values, but lookup procedures may still access these fields, potentially leading to a hard-lockup. The issue occurs because the allocated object from the slab is not properly zeroed, leading to inconsistent data access.

Recommendations Update to a newer version of the Linux kernel than 6.1.0+ #1.
