Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description An issue exists in the Linux kernel’s Wacom HID driver related to timestamp handling. Code interacting with timestamps was incorrectly using the int data type instead of ktime t, which does not provide sufficient space for timestamp values. This could lead to overflows when calculating or storing timestamps, resulting in incorrect values being reported to userspace. In some instances, this resulted in input handling appearing unresponsive in userspace.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
