Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Linux kernel (affected versions not specified)
Description The Linux kernel contains a flaw in the crypto API related to instance destruction. The crypto drop spawn function is designed to operate within a process context, but it can be triggered in atomic context when an instance is freed while still in use. This can lead to issues when the instance is unregistered with active users. The issue is addressed by deferring the freeing operation to a work queue.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
