Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Hide Email Address plugin for WordPress versions prior to 0.2

Description Stored Cross-Site Scripting occurs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access and above can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages via the inline css parameter in the bg-hide-email-address shortcode. These scripts execute whenever a user accesses the affected page.

Recommendations Update the plugin to a version newer than 0.1. As a temporary mitigation, restrict the use of the inline css parameter within the bg-hide-email-address shortcode.
