Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Bold Timeline Lite versions prior to 1.2.8

Description Stored Cross-Site Scripting occurs due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Authenticated attackers with Contributor-level access or higher can inject arbitrary web scripts into pages via the title parameter in the bold timeline group shortcode. These scripts execute whenever a user visits the affected page.

Recommendations Update Bold Timeline Lite to version 1.2.8 or later. As a temporary mitigation, restrict the use of the title parameter within the bold timeline group shortcode for users with Contributor-level access.
